As a residence of Northeast India I often find many shoutout voices of beautiful and famous places which you can visit at any seasons with your siblings,friends and relatives.Many mass  doesn't realised the exotic nature of different varieties of floras and faunas of the N.E.I.

But here we are to unveil the true identity of the nature of North east India which is the home to different various tribes,ethnicities,languages etc.Pack your bags and experience only then your thirst is satisfy.


1.Kaziranga National Park, Assam.

This undisturbed acres long stretch of forests and marshlands is located in the heart of Assam and is visited by hordes of tourists every year and it is one of the famous places to visit in North East india.The notable one-horned Rhino is a major attraction in Kaziranga which is an endangered species in the world. 




2.Tawang Monastery, Arunachal Pradesh

This monastery is located in Tawang, a mountain town situated at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Tawang Monastery is a significant monument in Arunachal Pradesh, popular as the birthplace of Dalai Lama and the largest Buddhist monastery in the entire country.  The monastery is recognized as the second largest in the world after Lhasa and    is 400 years old. 



3.Dawki River

Meghalaya is blessed with so many unique places that you can easily spend a month exploring this beautiful state.The crystal clear river in Dawki is known as Umngot river and is famous for its transparent visibility. The place is nestled in the West Jantai hill that has an active tourism and every year people visit Dawki to boat around this iconic river where the river bed is unbelievably clear.


                                                                                       
4.Majuli Island,Assam

Majuli is currently listed as the world's largest river island in the Guinness Book of World Records.A wetland, Mājuli is a hotspot for flora and fauna, harbouring many rare and endangered fauna species including migratory birds that arrive in the winter season. Among the birds seen here are the greater adjutant stork, pelican, Siberian crane and the whistling teal. After dark wild geese and ducks fly in flocks to distant destinations. 


5. Dibrugarh, Assam

Known as the tea city of India, Dibrugarh is the largest city in Assam and the gateway to other tea-producing districts of Assam. With its emerald fields, gurgling rivers, and a unique culture, the city is one of the most interesting places to visit in Northeast India.



6.Dzukou Valley –

Dzukou Valley is one of the breathtaking places to visit in Manipur India for nature lovers. Blooming with flowers of variegated colors, the valley is what dreams are made of. The valley is named after the rare Dzukou valley which is only found in this region.
















7.Cherrapunji, Meghalaya

Root bridges is one of the famous places in Northeast India.It is a naturally carved out from the long stretches of the roots and brides were artificially careved out from it.Living Root Bridges are found in West Jaintia Hills district, East Khasi Hills district, and a few other areas of Meghalaya that are among the places.However, the best root bridges are concentrated in Cherrapunji and Shillong.













8.Nohkalikai falls,Meghalaya

Nohkalikai Falls is the tallest plunge waterfall in India.[1] Its height is 1115 feet (340 metres).The waterfall is located near Cherrapunji, one of the wettest places on Earth. Nohkalikai Falls are fed by the rainwater collected on the summit of a comparatively small plateau and decrease in power during the dry season in December - February.













  9.Namdapha National Park,Arunachal Pradesh

Namdapha is also the largest National Park in Northeast India and the home to various floras and faunas.Namdapha was originally declared a Wildlife Sanctuary in 1972, then a National Park in 1983 and became a Tiger Reserve under the Project Tiger scheme in the same year





10.Loktak Lake,Manpur

It is located in the Bishnupur district of Manipur and the floating swamps can be toured on a fisherman's boat. This lake is famous for its numerous small floating islands which are locally famous as ‘Phumdis.’ Loktak lake is  the largest freshwater lakes in North East India
